On May 13, 2008, Disney Press published Camp Rock: the Junior Novel, by Lucy Ruggles, the novelization of the Disney film. It has been released to some Scholastic Book Fairs beforehand already. Target retail stores currently sells "special editions" of the novel, which is a hardcover book with some more special pages including photos.

 The song ' We Rock' is about what all the campers of Camp Rock had came to for, such as "finding our voice, following our dreams". The song was featured in the finale, the "Final Jam", of the movie, where the whole cast comes out and sing and dance to the song. |

CAMP ROCK is the first Disney Channel original Movie to have access rights to other cable networks of the Disney company from ABC to ABC Family in airing the film's screen debut.
